Photo Displays - CT Family Photographer

Today one of my awesome clients sent me a picture of the beautiful displays she had done with some of my photos. It's always such an honor to see your work displayed as art in someone's house. When it comes to custom photography, bigger is better. The smaller photos are 8x10's, and the larger one is 11x14 - what an impression they make, and I love the matted larger frames!

This is their mantle (Mom took the photo on the way right - she's quite the photographer herself!):

They also did another wonderful arrangement in their bathroom: Thanks so much for sharing these with me, M --- you did a beautiful job, and totally made my day! :)

Miss Hannah - CT Child Photographer

I've known Hannah's mother since I was 10 years old - she used to play barbies and watch Barney with my baby sister, so it was so much fun getting to know her daughter and get to run around and play with her!
We wandered around the beautiful grounds of the Conn College Arboreteum, looking for bugs and blowing bubbles. I even brought an adorable tutu for her to wear, and the sweetheart thought I had a "choo-choo" in my bag (she LOVES trains!), so she was a little disappointed it was something for her to wear, but she was great and had fun running around in it. Isn't she just gorgeous?
She was a little shy at first, but she warmed up very quickly once we popped bubbles together. The rest of the session I spent running around with her while her very pregnant mom rested.
She's a brave little girl - picking up bugs and all :)
Twirling in her tutu
I love these images - the represent childhood to me. Exploring, having fun & playing
A special thank you to Genny Christensen of Sweet Pea Designs for making this beautiful tutu! Check out her designs here: http://sweetpeatutus.blogspot.com/

Baby Natalie - CT Newborn Photographer

Natalie was such a tiny little sweetheart. And when I say tiny, she was my smallest baby yet! She was a week old, and just under 6lbs at the point when I photographed her. Alot of my newborn props were too BIG on her! She was so good for me, and smiled so much in her sleep. It's not surprising she'll be a happy baby - she has such a sweet family, and her mom is full of happy, loving energy. She is also the beautiful momma featured in my maternity section in the field of flowers. Congratulations to this wonderful family I've had the pleasure of knowing for quite some time - I know how excited you are to finally have Natalie here and I'm excited to watch her grow!

What a little peanut!

The Many Faces of Aleah - CT Newborn Photographer

This sweetheart certainly took her time entering the world... and now she's here, she has so much personality to share! Her mom wasn't kidding when she said she makes tons of faces. I caught smiles, frowns, inquisitive looks, grins, yawns, yells... she is just too precious! Her hot mama posed for maternity photos for me (she's on the cover of my facebook "maternity" photos) so I was super excited to meet the little one who was in that beautiful belly! I love this headband on her - so girly!!!
It's so tiring being this cute!

Baby Holden - CT Newborn Photographer

I got to meet this handsome little man at exactly 2 weeks. Which happens to be the cut-off date that I do newborn photos because the babies are becoming more aware of their surroundings and won't curl and pose as much. This guy slept AWESOME when we needed him to, and then opened his eyes for us later so I could get some cute 'awake' shots. Holden was solid, over 10 pounds, and had the beginnings of some of the adorable baby rolls that reminds you how fast they are growing!!! His parents were SO laid back with amazing personalities; this little guy is going to have so much fun growing up in such a happy, loving household. It was a pleasure meeting this family!

We had to include his 'big brother' - this is before he licked Holden's head

This is after: "mmmmm....tasty"

These older boys are such hams! :)

Beautiful family!
